At HOMEY DECOR LIMITED, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains the circumstances under which customers may request refunds, returns, or replacements, in accordance with UK consumer law.


Non-Delivery

If your order has not been delivered within 14 days from the date of dispatch, you are entitled to one of the following:

  • A full refund, or
  • A replacement item, subject to stock availability

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the item
  • Photographs of the packaging (if relevant)
  • A brief description of the issue

Upon verification, we will provide one of the following remedies:

  • A replacement product
  • A full refund
  • A partial refund, where appropriate

If a return is required, HOMEY DECOR LIMITED will cover the return shipping costs.


Change of Mind Returns

We are unable to accept returns for change of mind, unless otherwise required under applicable legislation or granted at our discretion.

Where a discretionary return is approved, the product must be:

  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • In resaleable condition

Return shipping costs in such cases are the responsibility of the customer.


Return Shipping Costs

HOMEY DECOR LIMITED Covers Return Shipping When:

  • An item is faulty
  • An item arrives damaged
  • An incorrect item is delivered
  • An order is not received within 14 days

Customer Covers Return Shipping When:

  • A discretionary return is approved
  • The return does not fall under the categories listed above

All returns must be pre-authorised by our customer service team.


Refund Processing Time

Once your refund has been approved and processed, funds are typically returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

  • Used bedding or soft furnishings
  • Personalised or customised items
  • Clearance or final sale items

Exchanges

Exchanges are offered under the following conditions:

  • The product is faulty
  • The product arrives damaged
  • The product received is incorrect

Exchanges for alternative colours, designs, or preferences are not offered.


Lost, Missing, or Stolen Deliveries

If a package is marked as delivered but has not been received, we recommend:

  • Checking with neighbours or household members
  • Confirming the delivery address
  • Contacting the courier directly for GPS or delivery confirmation

We will support courier investigations. If non-delivery is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund.


Chargebacks Through Your Bank or Payment Provider

Customers have the right to request a chargeback through their bank or card issuer if they believe a transaction was unauthorised, fraudulent, or if the merchant has failed to fulfil contractual obligations.

Before initiating a chargeback, we kindly request that customers contact us directly at info@homeydecor.co.uk to allow us the opportunity to resolve the issue promptly.

Please note:

  • Submitting a chargeback for a valid and fulfilled order without basis may be considered misuse of the chargeback mechanism.
  • In cases of fraudulent or invalid chargebacks, HOMEY DECOR LIMITED reserves the right to provide supporting evidence to the bank or payment processor, which may result in the chargeback being reversed.
  • We may suspend or decline future orders from accounts associated with misuse of chargebacks.
